POGO Events presents a Dog Friendly version of The Amazing New York Race. The Amazing New York Race is part scavenger hunt, part obstacle course and ALL NEW YORK. A series of clues leads you and your pup around Williamsburg, Brooklyn performing physical and mental challenges along the way. We will meet in McCarren Park Dog Run at 1:00 pm and dogs will be paired up into teams of 2 by a trained behaviorist. OR, you can sign up as a team of two on your own if you are coming with a friend.  The cost of $30 is per dog (not per person) so feel free to come with your partner, etc.

The Race takes about two hours with an after party at a dog friendly bar in Williamsburg. Please wear comfortable shoes. You should have a digital camera or camera phone. All participants will receive a "doggy bag" with loads of goodies from our sponsors. There will also be a "rest station" with food, drinks and snacks for your dog if they get tired along the way.

Laura Nativo and her dog Preston from the CBS show "Greatest American Dog" will be our special guests at this race along with other cast members from the show.

A portion of the proceeds go to a local Brooklyn Dog Shelter.

There is a rain date of 9/28 if we have bad weather.
